I chose to measure 5 different board widths, but here I am going to show one board with I experimented on. After I cut my material, I had to find its midpoint, that is where I would apply the Dual Range Force Sensor and apply force to see how much force would it take for the certain board width to deflect a point.
Experiment and its set up!
Road Set-Up
Grab the board and find the midpoint, where you will apply the force.
Support Setup
Grab the boards, these will act as supports (beam supports), and set them apart from each other. Set 3 up so that they could be the same height.
Begin Experiment
Look at deflection mark and amount of force applied
